Admin and Secretarial Purchasing Co-Ordinator

Are you looking for a new position where you can implement new processes/systems and really make the role your own?

We are looking for a pro-active Purchasing Co-ordinator to join a successful business based in Ely.

Excitingly, this position is one where your suggestions and new ideas will be encouraged and you will be responsible for ensuring systems and processes are streamlined and working as effectively as possible.

As Purchasing Co-ordinator, your duties will include:

  • Purchasing of goods on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
  • Managing stock levels
  • Stock rotation
  • Updating google sheets and MRP system
  • Ensuring data is inputted accurately
  • Requesting quotations
  • Negotiation of prices
  • Liaising with suppliers
  • Cost-reduction
  • Continuous improvement of processes and systems ensuring any changes are evaluated and changed if required

Ideally you will have manufacturing industry experience.

Location:          Ely

Hours:              Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm (flexible working available after completion of probationary period)

Salary:              Negotiable
