We are recruiting for a permanent Materials Handler, located on the outskirts of Ely.

You will be able to provide the safe transportation and booking in of both raw material and component part stock into their correct stock location supporting stock accuracy and exemplary customer service.

About the Materials Handler role:

• You will need to comply with all customs compliance procedures and documentation and participate in regular audits
• Ensure the safe and careful movements of raw materials and component parts stock into the factory
• Careful and accurate processing of Delivery Notes for all deliveries
• Careful and accurate booking in of all delivered raw materials and component parts as required
• Ensure that both parts and stock locations are correctly and accurately identified
• Ensure that all raw materials are stored correctly and safely
• Disposing of all waste packaging material as and when required
• Fully support the drive for increased levels of stock and data accuracy

About you:

It is essential that you have a valid counterbalance forklift licence and be in current practice.

To be considered for this role you must be able to use PC based ERP systems with attention to detail and a high level of data accuracy. Additionally, it’s really important that you’re a team player and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
