Call Centre and Customer Service Permanent Customer Support Representative

Permanent Customer Support Representative role for a company based in Ely

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Customer Support Representative to join a pro-active sales team based in Ely.

The successful candidate will be providing support to customers, processing quotes and orders, answering queries, resolving complaints, whilst always providing a high standard of customer service.

Duties include:

  • Answer and redirect external calls
  • Answer general customer enquiries by phone and email
  • Process quotes and orders of catalogue items
  • Be flexible with work hours to ensure all orders are processed on the same day
  • Anticipate and proactively manage customer needs to prevent escalation
  • Follow up on delayed orders and update customers
  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects
  • Follow SOPs and meet department KPIs

Candidate requirements:

  • Previous customer-facing experience
  • An excellent standard of written and verbal communication skills
  • A high attention to detail
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment
  • Familiarity with Windows, including core MS Office packages
