Accountancy Accounts Assistant

Are you an Accounts Assistant looking for a new challenge?

This is a 6 month fixed term contract, working 40 hours per week and based near Ely.

As Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for:

  • Responsible for the reconciliation of assigned balance sheet accounts
  • Processing invoices in a timely and accurate manner
  • Credit control, query resolution and credit notes
  • Record, allocate and reconcile receipts of cash and BACs to the relevant customer accounts daily
  • Assisting with month end processes and posting journals
  • Assisting with bank reconciliations
  • You will be required to provide admin and accounts support

Training and support will be provided.

It is essential that you have previous finance experience, ideally as an Accounts Administrator, Accounts Payable Assistant or Sales Ledger Assistant alongside fantastic organisation and communication skills.

A good knowledge of Excel is also required.
