If you’re an Accounts Assistant looking for a varied job role paying between £25,000 and £30,000 per annum, we want to hear from you!

Our Newmarket-based client is looking to for an Accounts Assistant with previous finance, accounts or purchase ledger experience.

As a collaborative and efficient Accounts Assistant, you’ll work within a small and welcoming finance team on a wide variety of challenging and recurring financial tasks.

As Accounts Assistant your duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Processing supplier invoices and credit notes for approval
  • Creating new suppliers
  • Perform weekly supplier payment runs and reconciling supplier statements
  • Posting foreign currency payments
  • Raising miscellaneous ledger invoices and credit notes
  • Printing and circulating customer outstanding balances report
  • Property and vehicle administration
  • Processing petty cash claims

The successful applicant will be flexible in terms of their day to day responsibilities and be a strong communicator with good organisational skills.

The role is paying between £25,000-£30,000 per annum with several attractive company benefits.
