We are recruiting for a motivated Electro-Mechanical Assembler with a proven track record in Product Assembly.

Based in Ely, Cambridgeshire this is a permanent, full time position offering a competitive salary and company benefits.

About the job:

You will be handling and assembling small mechanical components, as well as soldering. You’ll have an aptitude for all things mechanical. You will be following onscreen documented standard operating procedures and complete administrative tasks and you must also be mindful of safety procedures.

You will work 39 hours a week; 7:30am to 4:30pm and Friday 7:30am to 12:30pm.

Skills:

• Soldering skills
• Ideally you will have electro-mechanical assembly experience.
• Good communication skills – you will be discussing any product-related issues with colleagues and team leaders.
• Ability to take initiative.
• A positive approach to continuous improvement activities.

A good understanding of production methods and best practices (Lean), troubleshooting / finding root causes and solutions for technical problems would be desirable.

Knowledge of Mechanical and Electronic Manufacturing assembly techniques would be beneficial.

Location:         Ely

Hours:             Monday-Thursday 7:30am to 4:30pm and Friday 7:30pm to 12:30pm.
