15 Nov Jessica Harvey-Bowman appointed as Corporate Charity Ambassador
We are pleased to announced that Jessica Harvey-Bowman has been appointed as Corporate Charity Ambassador.
In addition to her existing role as Senior Account Manager, Jess will be focusing her time on building the companies connection with the local communities they serve as a recruitment agency.
As a local recruitment agency we specialise in working with permanent and temporary positions across East Anglia. In 2019 we were also shortlisted for The Best UK Recruitment Agency (under 10 staff) at The Recruitment Awards.
The business has a reputation for putting the community first, being extremely passionate about supporting local community projects. In recent years, all our staff have contributed to a number of charities across the region through fundraising, donating, sponsoring, participating in events and volunteering their own time.
The new position Jess has taken onboard is a fantastic testament to how we strive to put the community at the forefront of everything they do:
“I am extremely honoured to have been appointed Charity Ambassador for Neaves & Neat,” says Jess. “I feel passionately about supporting our local community and charitable fundraising. Throughout 2019 we have been supporting the Ely FoodBank and look forward to continuing our support and donations towards the fund this year. Looking to 2020 we are currently in talks to partner with a local Cambridgeshire Charity to assist with a long-term exciting fundraising project spanning the next 5 years. This is very exciting!”
“We are thrilled to appoint Jessica as our Corporate Charity Ambassador. She has worked with so many charities and community projects outside of work it was an easy decision to bring her into this role at Neaves & Neat.” said Director of Sales, Hayley Murfitt. “We are a community first company; it is important for us to give back in every way we can. I am excited to see what we can achieve with Jess.”
Over the past 5 years, Neaves & Neat have further donated over £12,000 to a number of other worthy causes, including:
- Addenbrookes ACT – ABC Breast Cancer Appeal
- Addenbrookes ACT – Dragon Boat Race 2017
- Cambridgeshire Children’s Community Nursing Team – Beads of Courage
- The Paddles Swim School – Coast to Coast Challenge
- East Anglian Air Ambulance
- Chema & Kizza Madagasca Children’s School
- You Bike Too / Addenbrookes ACT Octogen Cycling Club
- YMCA Trinity Group
